Shannon Foy

Shannon attended four years at the Southern Orange County School of the Arts where she honed her skills playing a kid and stage managing everything from Shakespeare to more Shakespeare. Outside the Cabaret, Shannon has danced the dance all over Chico, including teaching several styles of Swing (Chico Dance Theater), and for the past four years Shannon has been keeping dance alive in…um…Keeping Dance Alive. Well on her way to playing every annoying side kick in Musical Theater History, Shannon is thrilled to be in such a company to keep her going through her golden years.

Unlike most of the other Cabaret Company members, Shannon does not like everything associated with Theater. She does not like singing high. She does not like organizing the props backstage and she does not like being half dressed on stage either. She does however love stage managing, tap dancing, getting glitter all over the floor, building sets, and her new passion is dramaturgy (a fancy schmancy name for historical, political, social and economic researcher, etc.).
